We had our first freeze on October 18, 2026. The nearest Weather Underground station (https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KMAARLIN92) reported a low of 31.6^oF at 5:20AM.

The brassicas, hardy greens, and herbs seem fine, the peppers didn’t look too bad, and the lettuce and chard under plastic overnight looked OK.

Tomatoes, squashes, eggplant, tomatillos and the flowers did not fare so well.
